Air Passenger Duty Tax Refund

UK Air Passenger Duty (APD) has been abolished for children aged 2 or over, but under 12, for flights departing from UK airports from May 1 2015.

To be eligible for a refund of your child’s APD the following must apply:

• The child (children) on the booking must be aged 2 or over, but under 12 on the date of the flight (proved by a travel document)
• Departure from a UK airport
• They must be travelling on, or after, May 1 2015
• Price for ticket was not lower then £13.00
• The refund is £13.00.
